Ayurveda (Sanskrit: आयुर्वेद) is the ancient Vedic system of medicine. "Ayur" meaning life and "Veda" defined as total knowledge. Together Ayurveda means "Total Knowledge of Life" Ayurveda is the oldest form of holistic medicine and has been used for thousands of years to help prevent and treat all types of ailments and "dis-eases". 4 step process: 1. Detailed Ayurvedic Assessment Session: Assessment of your physiology will identify your unique doshic composition (Prakriti) and imbalanced state (Vikruti). This assessment helps to determine the best diet, herbs, exercise, yogic and energetic practices for you. Thorough assessment will be conducted utilizing Nadi Vigyan technique (pulse assessment) + Tongue Assessment + Detailed Questionnaires + Medical History. (In person - 1.5 hours) 2. Ayurvedic Customized Treatment Plan + Education Session: 12 Page Plan is created including personal assessment details + Herbal Supplement List + Multimodalities + Lifestyle + Diet Plan. Plan to be reviewed in person or via Zoom call. (Online/In person - 1 hour) Please Note: Depending on complexity of imbalances/complex chronic conditions, plans can take 7-10 business days to create. 3. Shopping Trip: We will meet at local Indian store to shop for foods + herbs + spices that are part of your customized Ayurvedic Recipe Plan. Here you will learn how to navigate what can seem like an overwhelming variety of items with ease! (I person - 1 hour) 4. 30 minute Check-In: Halfway through your program, a check-in call will be schedule to monitor your progress.
